WHY BECOME A MEMBER-OWNER?
AHFC is more than just a food co-op: we are working to enable social and economic justice for our community. As a board member, you will help lead AHFC towards this vision.
As a member, voting will give you an active voice in the decisions being made for AHFC and the community.
Members get fiscal perks such as discounted T-shirts and other discounts.
Who can be a member?
Any person, cooperative, non-profit corporation or corporation can become a member.
How can I become a member?
An application must be submitted for approval by the Board. If the application is denied, the membership fee will be refunded to the applicant.

Membership is $100.00.
What is a buy-in?
It is a payment for produce and is paid by both members and non-members.
Do I have to be a member to buy-in?
No, a membership is not required to buy in.

In order to fulfill our mission, we need to engage the entire community . . . including you. Membership is $100.00 and allows you to help make co-op decisions, get discounts, and most importantly, further the mission of the AHFC.
